International Champions Cup: Chelsea take on Fiorentina

Chelsea will be hoping to bounce back from a Community Shield defeat to Arsenal last time out, which saw them narrowly lose due to a goal from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

They are odds-on at 4/9 with Coral to beat Fiorentina in what will be their last International Champions Cup match, while for Jose Mourinho’s team to win in 90 minutes and for both teams to score, odds of 11/4 are offered.

With the new Premier League season imminent, it is unlikely that Mourinho will risk many major first team stars, which is why young striker Dominic Solanke is odds-on at 10/11 to net in the anytime market and his presence could give both Diego Costa and Radamel Falcao the chance to be 100 per cent fit in time for the weekend.

Ramires came close to equalising for Chelsea at Wembley against the Gunners and is 5/1 anytime, while Victor Moses who could be given a chance to prove himself under Mourinho, is 11/4 in the same market.

One player who needs to impress for the Blues this campaign, following his January move, is Colombia winger Juan Cuadrado. After performing so impressively at the World Cup last summer, the 27-year-old is yet to make an impression on the top flight of English football.

Against his former club, it could renew his motivation to impress, with the player 2/1 in the anytime market, though he will be watched closely by scouts from Juventus, with the Serie A champions having expressed a serious interest in getting his signature.

For Fiorentina, Federico Bernardeschi was on target twice as the Italian outfit beat Barcelona 2-1 last time out, and the 21-year-old winger, who is certainly one to watch this season, commands odds of 11/4 in the anytime market and can certainly cause problems.

Failing that, former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi is 8/1 to break the deadlock, while Babacar Khouma is 11/4 anytime.
