Vertem Futurity Trophy betting: Auguste Rodin the odds-on favourite

Auguste Rodin heads Coral’s Vertem Futurity Trophy betting for the Group 1 at Doncaster as Aidan O’Brien looks for a record 11th win in the race.

Auguste Rodin is the current 10/1 favourite with Coral for next year’s Derby and is 5/6 to highlight why with victory this weekend.

Coral’s David Stevens said: “Aidan O’Brien has a tremendous record in the UK Flat season’s final Group 1, and Auguste Rodin is a warm favourite to not only enhance his trainer’s record in the Doncaster feature, but also cement his own claims for Classic glory next year.”

Although only second to Beresford Stakes winner Crypto Force on debut, the son of Deep Impact has impressed in his two outings since, landing the KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes at Leopardstown during Irish Champions Weekend.
