Coral ambassador Tom Scudamore gives us the lowdown on his Saturday rides at Musselburgh

Musselburgh 12.57 – Roi De Dubai

I rode Roi De Dubai to finish second at Perth last autumn, and while we have a little bit to find on ratings here, he’s an honest, consistent horse who looks sure to run his race again, and with not much between the four runners, he should be there or thereabouts.

Musselburgh 2.40 – Anna Bunina

Anna Bunina found it all a little bit hard when running in a Grade 2 at Doncaster last time.  She does have better form in handicaps like this one, and on her best form would have a chance, but she does need to bounce back after that last effort.

Musselburgh 3.10 – Gemologist

Gemologist had been running well without getting her head in front, and was unlucky to be hampered by a faller when favourite here last time out.  Conditions will suit her, and this could be a good opportunity for her.

Musselburgh 3.45 – Mighty Thunder

It’s great to be back on board Mighty Thunder, who gave us all such a great day when winning the Coral Scottish National last year.

He’s rated just four pounds higher than that Ayr win, he obviously loves it around here as he showed when winning this 12 months ago.

Highland Hunter deserves the utmost respect having finished second in the Coral Welsh National, but I have every confidence in my fellow and expect a big run.
