A preview of what’s happening across the globe

There’s plenty of sporting action taking place on Wednesday, including football, horse racing and darts.

And we’ve got the lowdown on all the key fixtures and meetings, with all events scheduled to take place at the time of writing.

Football

There are two games to look forward to in the Belarusian Cup as the league takes a backseat. First up at 16:00, Soligorsk take on Dinamo Brest.

The hosts are 10/11 favourites to make it through against their 14/5 opponents, while the draw can be backed at 2/1.

Later on, BATE Borisov are 3/10 to progress at home to Slavia Mozyr. The visitors are priced at 17/2, with the draw going at 17/5.

Horse racing

Racing fans won’t know where to look on Wednesday, with three meetings taking place in the USA. The Spring Meet continues at Will Rogers Downs, while there’s also action from Tampa Bay Downs and Fonner Park.

Meanwhile, there are five jam-packed cards from Australia, including from Sunshine Coast and Warwick Farm. There’s also plenty more international racing, with action from various courses across Japan and Hong Kong.

Darts

The PDC Home Tour continues as Steve Beaton, Callan Rydz, Matthew Edgar and Carl Wilkinson go head-to-head as they look to book their place in the next round.

Beaton is the favourite to progress on the night and is odds-on to win all three of his matches. Wilkinson could struggle, with his shortest pre-match odds 11/10.

Table tennis

The Challenger Series takes place on Wednesday, with four players facing each other in a round-robin format.

Evgueni Chtchetinine should prove too strong for his opponents and is just 1/40 to beat 11/1 shot Nico Wenger. Josip Huzjak and Sven Happek are also in action.

Snooker

There are three matches to look forward to in the Armenian Cup, starting from 7:00. All three matches will be traded in-play.

Golf

The Golden State and Cactus Tour events are also taking place, with Gold State 3balls and mythical Cactus 2balls available.
