What’s happening in the world of sport today?

Wednesday brings racing from around the world, as well as darts, golf and the latest Esports action.

We’ve rounded up the best of the action here for your convenience…

Horse Racing

With French racing now into its second week since making a triumphant return, there’s racing from around the world to enjoy throughout the day.

The early going sees five meetings from Australia, starting in Ballarat from 2:25, followed by Balaklava, Sunshine Coast, Randwick and Pinjarra. If the early action’s your thing, there are cards from four Japanese racecourses too, including Sonoda at 2:45, as well as Kasamatsu, Mombetsu and Oi.

Be sure to look out for a nine-race card from Hong Kong’s Happy Valley at 10:45.

The racing from France begins at La Teste De Buch at 9:25, before Le Croise-Laroche at 11:50, with Chartres at 14:27.

Finally, in the evening there US racing in the form of a nine-race card at Tampa Bay Downs starting at 17:00, with a 10-race card at Will Rogers Downs from 18:15.

Darts

The Modus Icons of Darts Series continues from 10:30 with ‘The Queen of the Palace’ Fallon Sherrock in action throughout the day. The first match of the day sees her take on Michael Warburton, with both players found at 5/6 to claim victory.

Other players involved in the action include Jarred Cole, Scott Marsh, Michael Warburton, Ritchie Edhouse and Boris Koltsov.

From 21:00 you can also catch The Remote Darts League, with the likes of Lorrain Winstanley and Tony O’Shea stepping up to the Oche.

Golf

The Alta Mesa CC tees off at 15:00, with Spaniard Carlota Ciganda found at 5/4 to win, with Mina Harigae her closest rival at 2/1 to win.

Snooker

The Armenian Cup continues, with three more matches from 07:00. We’ll have odds pre-match and In-Play.

Esports

In Counter-Stike: Global Offensive, the Dreamhack Masters Spring continues with matches from both the EU and North American group stages.

First off, G2 Esports are 2/7 favourites to beat Heroic who are 5/2 to win in their match at 13:00, with MIBR v Furias Esports from 20:10

There are also two matches from the Global Starcraft 2 League as Dark is 4/11 favourite to beat TY who is 2/1 to win in their 10:30 encounter. At 12:00, PartinG is 9/4 to beat Maru who is the 1/3 favourite here.
