Sports Schedule: Thursday 16th April
A look ahead to the best sport on offer Thursday
We’ve got more racing and darts action on offer, as well as football from three leagues. The world of Esports continues too, including a cricket match from the Quarantine Cup, plus more in Thursday’s round-up of sport.
All of these events are still scheduled to go ahead at the time of writing:
Horse Racing
We’ve got meetings from Australia and Japan in the early hours, starting at Sonoda at 02:45 before action from Cairns, Wyong, Kasamatsu, Pakenham and more.
We’ll have action from Sweden too, where a 10-race card gets underway at 17:20 from Orebro, before it’s race-off at Aby from 17:30.
We head stateside from 18:00, where there’s a mammoth 11-race card from Gulfstream Park running through to the final race at 23:17.
Football
There’s more early morning action from the Nicaraguan Primera Division, with four matches. Juventus Managua take on CD Ocatal in the first match, with the home side 1/2 favourites.
We’ll have two matches from the Belarusian Vysshala League from 15:30, with second place Energetik-BGU hosting Gorodeya, who sit in ninth. The home side are odds-on 3/4 favourites to win, with Gorodeya 7/2 outsiders.
There’s also action from the Belarusian Reserve League from 12:00, including Smolevichi STI Reserves travelling to Belshina Bobruisk Reserves. Smolevichi could top the league at close of play with a win, and they’re 21/20 to grab all three points.
Darts
The Modus Icon of Darts tournament continues, with Jason Askew and Arron Monk looking to continue the fine form they’ve shown so far this tournament.
There’ll be more action from the Modus A Night at the Darts tournament in the evening too, where David Evans will hope to maintain the strong start he made to the campaign over the first two evenings.
Round five of the Czech Premier League takes place too, with five matches taking place from 19:00 including the hot hand of Adam Gawlas taking on Alexander Masek at 20:00.
Esports
Week two of the CS:GO Home Sweet Home Cup continues, with Group C matches taking place to decide which two teams pick up the fifth and sixth playoff spots.
Pre-match 8/15 favourites AGO Gaming host SMASH from 10:50, before Team Singularity have it all to do as 3/1 underdogs against odds-on 2/9 favourites BIG at 12:20.
You can find more CS:GO action in the ESL Meisterschaft and Loot/CS, as well as plenty of action from the BTS America and SouthEast Asia leagues in Dota 2. Plus, there are three leagues in action in League of Legends, including the Legends Pro League.
There’s eCricket action from the Quarantine Cup at 19:00 between Notts Esports and Gloucs Esports. Our traders are struggling to split the pair, and you can find 5/6 for either side to win.
Snooker
The Armenia Snooker Championship continues Thursday morning from 07:00, with In-Play odds on all three matches.
