Team Tizzard give us the lowdown on their runners at Stratford and Ascot this weekend

Saturday

2.53 Stratford – The Changing Man

He is a beautiful looking horse who we paid a decent amount of money for based on his pedigree. The penny hasn’t quite dropped for him yet, but we think he is very well handicapped.

He ran OK up to a point at Wincanton last time out. Hopefully he can produce more this time and he will be in with a decent chance off this 5lb lower mark.

4.38 Stratford – L’Air Du Vent

It hasn’t quite happened for L’Air Du Vent this season. When he won his novice chase at Exeter last season, we expected him to kick on, but unfortunately he didn’t.

He is a spring horse who likes the sun on his back and some better ground. He is more than capable, but he has some question marks around him at the moment.

Sunday

3.55 Ascot – Elegant Escape

He is a good old boy who has been brilliant for us. I am sure he will win one of these veteran races sooner rather than later. He is in good form at home, and he should like it around Ascot.
