Horse To Watch
Mike de Kock is well known to anyone with an interest in racing in Britain or Dubai.
He looks to have a leading contender in the mile handicap at 14.55 with Akwaan. Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum’s three-year-old beat a couple of subsequent winners when breaking his maiden at this venue last month.
As a result, he may have been assigned a workable mark for his handicap debut here.
