Goshen 6/4 to return to winning ways in Coral Hurdle

Four-year-old favourite to win at Ascot on Saturday

The Gary Moore-trained Goshen has been made the 6/4 favourite to return to winning way’s in Saturday’s Grade 1 Coral Hurdle.

He’s suffered two defeats in flat races so far this season, but sits ahead of Laurina in the betting, who has been made the 3/1 second favourite.

Last year’s runner up Call Me Lord has been made the 7/2 third favourite to win this year’s event.

Coral’s David Stevens said: “”Despite suffering two defeats on the flat since his unlucky Triumph Hurdle loss, Goshen heads the betting to get back to winning ways in Saturday’s Coral Hurdle, with Laurina his closest market rival on what would be her first start since switching to Paul Nicholls.”

Elsewhere, Lostintranslation is the 11/10 favourite to notch back-to-back victories in the Betfair Chase at Haydock, with Bristol De Mai next up in the betting at 7/4.

“With trainer Colin Tizzard hitting top form in recent days, Lostintranslation is a warm favourite to win his second Betfair Chase, with old rival Bristol De Mai his closest challenger in the betting,” added Stevens.
