Latest odds ahead of this weekend’s racing

Could Frankie Dettori follow his Royal Ascot success with a historic treble in the Investec Derby, Investec Oaks and Coral-Eclipse this weekend? Our odds suggest he has a real chance to do just that.

Ahead of the belated Epsom Classics, English King heads the Derby betting as 9/4 favourite. Love tops the Investec Oaks market at 6/5, with Frankly Darling at 15/8.

Dettori will be riding English King and Frankly Darling on Saturday, before getting aboard even-money favourite Enable for Sunday’s Coral-Eclipse. He had six winners at Royal Ascot, which saw him crowned top jockey at the festival for the second year running.

“English King is now well clear of the 2,000 Guineas winner Kameko in the Investec Derby betting, Frankly Darling is a strong second favourite for the Investec Oaks, while Enable will be a warm favourite to win her second Coral-Eclipse,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

“The man who links all three is Frankie Dettori, who fresh from being crowned top jockey at the Royal meeting recently, is now out to land an historic Group One treble and cause more pain for the bookies on what is arguably the greatest weekend of Flat racing ever staged in the UK,” added Stevens.
