Saturday’s Coral Hurdle at Ascot will have a trio of runners after Goshen’s withdrawal

Call Me Lord and Laurina are now the 6/4 joint favourites for Saturday’s Coral Hurdle, with Song For Someone next at 11/4, after Goshen’s absence left a trio a runners in the Ascot Grade Two.

“It’s disappointing that Goshen isn’t lining up in the Coral Hurdle, but we now have a closely matched pair at the head of the market, while Song For Someone cannot be ruled out either, meaning we at least have a competitive and intriguing contest to look forward to,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

Coral will also be sponsoring the Hurst Park Handicap at the Berkshire track, for which Magic Saint is the 11/4 market leader, while Imperial Aura heads the betting for the Chanelle Pharma 1965 Chase at 7/4.
