Tom Scudamore: “Big River will be in with a big chance”
Tom Scudamore gives us the lowdown on his rides at Kelso on Saturday
This horse has had a lot of appearances around Kelso, so it’s a course he knows very well. He has been in decent form this season, with two wins to his name.
We just don’t want the ground to get too quick for him, but I should imagine they will water it to ensure that does not happen.
It’s a small field as we will have two or three rivals to beat. We will be in with a big chance.
He has had two attempts to date, and he has hit the frame on both occasions around Doncaster.
He is an improving type, and I don’t think he will need to improve too much to be in the mix here.
Decent prize money in Scotland
It has been a decent week so far for me. I had a winner at Ludlow on Wednesday, and then I followed it up with a winner at Sedgefield on Thursday.
There is some excellent prize money on offer in Scotland this weekend and hopefully I can pick some up with my rides at Kelso.
