Next month is the favourite to see the season get backunderway
Horse racing could return in May, according to the latestodds from Coral.
UK sport is currently at a standstill due to the ongoingcoronavirus pandemic, with no indication as to when it could resume.
Racing fans are desperate for the season to get going againand our traders have shortened May from 15/8 into 6/5 to be the month weget back in the saddle.
Meanwhile, previous favourite June has seen its odds grow,with the month now at 7/4, having previously been 6/4.
“The wider situation, which will ultimately dictate when UKracing can begin again, is obviously changing on a daily basis,” said Coral’sDavid Stevens.
“But there is now greater confidence behind a resumption asearly as next month.”
