That’s after the club reportedly made an approach to Leicester City for the defender today.
Earlier in the week, Maguire was out at 9/4 to sign for United this summer. And Jose Mourinho could do with a top-class defender too. The Portuguese boss has been on the look-out for defensive improvements for a while now.
“United have laid clear their plans to capture England’s World Cup hero Maguire this window and our odds suggest that they are now likely to get the deal done,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
