The F1 accidents that still cause debate

F1 bosses promised fans pre-season that they had made the necessary rule changes to bring excitement and drama back to their sport, and judging by the early exchanges of the 2017 campaign, they’ve done just that.

There’s little between rivals Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel as they battle it out for supremacy in the drivers’ championship, but neither man finished on the podium in a chaotic Azerbaijan Grand Prix, eventually won by Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull.

Vettel was dragged over hot coals for driving into Hamilton, with the Brit labelling the German a disgrace in a fiery post-race rant.
