As Hukum makes ground on St Leger favourites Pyledriver and Santiago
Ghaiyyath is the 10/11 (from evens) favourite with our traders for Saturday’s Irish Champion Stakes, following support for the Godolphin star today. Magical is 5/2 second favourite, ahead of Lord North at 7/1.
“Punters are putting their faith in the world’s highest-rated race horse, and although he could face a pack of Group One-winning rivals at Leopardstown on Saturday, Ghaiyyath is set to live up to his billing, certainly as far as the betting is concerned,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
In the Pertemps St Leger betting, Hukum has attracted some support and is now 10/3 (from 7/2) with Coral.
