In Liverpool (4/9 odds-on favourites) and Crystal Palace’s penultimate games of the 2014/15 Premier League season, it marks the end of an era, as Reds icon Steven Gerrard will be playing his final match at Anfield before signing for LA Galaxy.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Coral are offering some tasty odds for customers to take a punt on the captain fantastic.

You can take advantage of three Gerrard specials. There is a price of 6/4 for him to be named Man of the Match and 4/1 to score from a free-kick.

Or, if you fancy him to mark his Anfield send-off being sent off, as he did in his final game against Manchester United when the moment got to him, he can be backed at an enticing 33/1.

On top of that, Gerrard is also the subject of an enhanced matchday special (with a maximum stake of £20), with odds of 2/1 for him to score anytime and add to his 12 goals in all competitions already this term.

However, Palace happen to be Liverpool’s bogey club over the years it seems, as the Eagles have lost just three of their past nine against them in all competitions, winning four. So you can back them at a tempting 7/1 price to spoil Gerrard’s party and beat them again, or 7/2 to take a creditable draw.

The man that Brendan Rodgers will need to keep an eye on in particular is Dwight Gayle, who has been the scourge of the Reds in recent matches, having scored four in his last three league games against them. Gayle is a tempting 7/2 chance to net anytime again here.

Other forward threats for the visiting Eagles include in-form duo Yannick Bolasie and Glenn Murray, who are respective 5/1 and 10/3 shouts in the same market.

For the hosts, who can still mathematically make it to the top four despite being 14 goals behind Manchester United, meanwhile, besides Gerrard, former Southampton duo Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana have struck against Palace for the Reds before. The latter duo are 7/4 and 5/1 to net again anytime.

While Alan Pardew’s men are positioned well in the top flight, up in 12th and safe from the drop, they have lost their last four, so will be hoping to finish the season on a high.

They should be able to recall Jason Puncheon, who has reportedly been offered a new contract, while some youngsters such as highly-rated winger Sullay Kaikai could be given a chance.
