What’s on the sporting agenda across the globe today?

We’ve got another packed schedule of sport today, including the Berlin derby in the Bundesliga, plus international horse racing, darts and more.

Before any of the day’s action gets underway, we’ve rounded up the pick of the bunch here…

Horse Racing

There’s plenty of early morning action from Australia. The first race Down Under from Gold Coast’s nine-race card getting started at 2:42, with more from Coffs Harbour, Stawell, Canberra, Geraldton and Cranbourne.

Japan hosts a few early races too, including their first of the day from Kasamatsu’s 12-race card at 3:00. Sonoda and Oi each host 12-races later in the morning too.

European racing continues too, with four meetings in France, starting at Vichy from 10:15. There’s a single meet in Germany too, where the first of Dresden’s nine races gets underway at 14:30.

It’s a busy day Stateside too, with no fewer than five meetings throughout the afternoon and evening. Tampa Bay Downs gets the action underway at 17:35, before Gulfstream Park, Churchill Downs, Santa Anita and Golden Gate Fields host their cards later.

Football

The Bundesliga continues with another full run of fixtures across the weekend, but we start with the Berlin derby on Friday night as Hertha Berlin host Union Berlin from 19:30.

Union won the first meeting between the pair this season but are 2/1 underdogs for a repeat of that win. Hertha edge the betting as the 13/10 favourites.

We’ve got a pair of fixtures from the 2. Bundesliga too from 17:30. Fourth place Heidenheim could close the gap to the top three with a win. They’re 4/5 favourites to beat Wehen Wiesbaden.

Elsewhere, Nurnberg are 19/20 to beat Erzgeberge despite being nine places below them in the table. The away side are 13/5 to get a result.

The South Korean K League continues too, as Pohang Steelers take on FC Seoul at 11:30. The home side are 23/20 for three points, with Seoul 12/5 to bag the win.

Slavia Mozyr are 3/4 odds-on favourites in their Belarusian Premier League match against Gorodeya from 16:00. The away side are 18/5 to take the three points. Soligorsk are 2/9 to beat Belshina Bobruisk from 18:00.

There are three matches taking place in the Belarusian Reserve League too from 12:00.

Darts

Fallon Sherrock returns to the oche in the day’s Modus Icons of Darts fixtures. She’s joined by Jose Justicia, Boris Koltsov, Ritchie Edhouse, Scott Marsh, Jarred Cole and Michael Warburton in the round-robin format tournament.

Jose Justicia takes on Boris Koltsov in the day’s first match at 10:30, with Koltsov the odds-on 2/7 favourite to take the win.

Michael Warburton takes on Fallon Sherrock in the final encounter of the evening. It looks like it could be the closest match to call, with Warburton heading in as the 4/5 favourite, though Sherrock is even money to win.

What else is on?

In snooker, the Armenian Cup continues with another three matches from 7:00 featuring Rudolf Keheyan, Grigori Dashyan and Eduard Yeghiazaryan. We’ll have pre-match and In-Play betting on all three matches.

We’ll have 3-Ball markets from the Alta Mesa and TPC Champions Classic golf tournaments in Arizona too.

There’s cricket action too, as the inaugural Vincy T10 Premier League gets underway from the Caribbean island of St. Vincent.

There are six teams competing, with three matches a day. Grenadines Divers take on Salt Pond Breakers at 13:30, with the Breakers the 4/5 favourites.  La Soufriere Hikers host Botanic Gardens Rangers at 15:30 in a match where the Rangers are pre-match 8/11 favourites.

The final game of the day pits the Dark View Explorers up against Fort Charlotte Strikers from 17:30. The Explorers are even money heading into the game, with the Strikers 4/5 favourites.

We’ll have plenty of Esports matches too, with gaming action from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Call of Duty and StarCraft 2 throughout the day.
