Wolves v Liverpool betting tips: Reds firing on all cylinders
Preview and odds for Saturday’s match
Jurgen Klopp continues his quest for a second Premier League title as we look through the odds to pick out some Wolves v Liverpool betting tips.
Liverpool look to be in the same sort of form which saw them lift the trophy in 2019/20 and the third favourites in the Premier League winner odds look to continue their winning run.
Saturday’s game at Molineux kicks off at 3pm.
Wolves v Liverpool match odds
Since the defeat to West Ham in a five-goal thriller at the London Stadium, the Reds have looked an unstoppable force and will be keen to bank as many points as possible before Sadio Mane and Mo Salah depart for the African Nations’ Cup later this month.
Their star Egyptian was excellent once again as they slammed local rivals Everton 4-1 on Wednesday evening and it is hard to dispute Liverpool’s price as 4/9 favourites for this one.
It is Wolves that are tasked with bringing Liverpool’s winning run to an end and they have their own unbeaten streak to continue.
They made it three games without defeat when drawing with Burnley in midweek and maintained their lofty position in the top six.
Wolves have kept three consecutive clean sheets but it would be a shock if they can continue that trend here with 7/1 available.
That is because Liverpool, who are easily the division’s leading scorers, have rattled home four in three of their last four fixtures.
Wolves v Liverpool head-to-head
The hosts haven’t beaten Liverpool in the Premier League in over 10 years, but have tasted success twice against them in the FA Cup since 2017.

Nevertheless, the Reds are looking to an extend a nine-game winning run over Wolves in the top flight and they won both fixtures to nil last season.
Liverpool ran out 4-0 winners on home soil last season and with them winning two of their last three Premier League games by that scoreline, it makes some appeal at 16/1 here.
Wolves v Liverpool key battles
It is hard to ignore the season Salah is having and it is no surprise to see him chalked up as the 13/5 favourite to open the scoring in this one.
However, it is foolish to ignore Diogo Jota, who fired home his eighth Premier League goal of the season with a fantastic finish against Everton on Wednesday night.
He is 5/4 to add to his tally at anytime and score for the fourth consecutive top-flight game as he visits his former club.
For all Liverpool’s enterprise in attack, it is their back-line that are the unsung heroes. They have kept 12 clean sheets in all competitions this season and another solid night for the Reds defence is 23/20.
For a #YourCall special, you could try Liverpool to win both halves, Liverpool over 2.5 goals and Liverpool to keep a clean sheet at 11/2 in Wolves v Liverpool betting tips.
