Chelsea v Tottenham betting tips: Draw the best bet
Preview and odds for Sunday’s Premier League clash
Spurs have a chance to send a message to their rivals as we analyse the odds to pick out some Chelsea v Tottenham betting tips.
Expectations are high at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this campaign after Antonio Conte was backed in the transfer market but Chelsea are still a dangerous team despite a disjointed off season.
Sunday’s match at Stamford Bridge kicks off at 4.30pm and is live on Sky Sports.
Chelsea in transition
Many pundits and fans see Chelsea having a battle on their hands to secure a top-four spot this season after a summer of change at the club following Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital’s takeover.
Thomas Tuchel has had to rebuild his side, with Romelu Lukaku, Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger all departing and big money spent on bringing in Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Carney Chukwuemeka and Marc Cucurella.

The transfer activity does not look like stopping there with Timo Werner set to head back to Germany and Tuchel wanting more incomings.
Defender Ben Chilwell said: “We’re a team in transition and we’re still trying to work together.
“We’ve got new players that have been integrated in and a new ownership so we’re still working hard and basically we’re just taking every game as it comes.”
The Blues started their season with a 1-0 win at Everton and will take confidence from their recent dominant record over Tottenham.
But Spurs are a different proposition under Conte and a draw at 12/5 kicks off our Chelsea v Tottenham predictions.
New-look Spurs set for first test
Tottenham have been tipped for a potential title challenge after splashing the cash this summer to strengthen their squad.
Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence have all arrived and they laid an early marker down on the opening weekend.
After James Ward-Prowse opened the scoring for Southampton, Ryan Sessegnon and Eric Dier responded before an own goal from Mohammed Salisu was followed by a Dejan Kulusevski strike.
The 4-1 win, which did not see Harry Kane or Heung-min Son score, showed Conte’s side mean business this term.

Conte said: “We won three important points but the most important thing was the way we got three points, with really good football, with the ball, without the ball, with important pressure, also the way we decided to win the ball after we lost it was another important aspect.”
A tighter game is expected and a London derby 1-1 draw is 11/2 in our Chelsea v Tottenham betting tips.
Chelsea v Tottenham meetings
Chelsea have dominated Tottenham in recent seasons, with an 11-match unbeaten record including five consecutive wins with clean sheets.
The Blues won all four games last term and their last meeting saw goals from Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva secure a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge in January.
Sterling to get off the mark for Tuchel’s side is 5/2 in our Chelsea v Tottenham betting tips.
