Preview and odds for Thursday’s match

Antonio Conte is searching for back-to-back home Premier League victories in the Spurs dugout as we look through the odds to pick out some Tottenham v Brentford betting tips.

Conte saw his side’s match with Burnley postponed at the weekend, which perhaps gives them a slight fitness edge over the Bees, who beat Everton on Saturday afternoon.

Thursday’s match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium kicks off at 7.30pm and is live on Amazon Prime.

Tottenham v Brentford match odds

Having drawn their first game of the Conte era, there was signs of encouragement when Spurs came from behind to beat Leeds in their most recent Premier League contest.

Since then, however, they have suffered the embarrassment of a Europa Conference League defeat to Slovenian minnows Mura, before the snow intervened at Turf Moor on Sunday.

The Italian gaffer, who lifted the Premier League trophy while at Chelsea, was scathing in his criticism of his side following the loss to Mura and Spurs are the 4/6 favourites for this as they look to provide an immediate response.

Brentford’s win over Everton on Saturday was just what the doctor ordered and ended a three-game winless run for the Bees.

That gives Thomas Frank’s side a bit of breathing space between themselves and those at the foot of the Premier League table and they are 9/2 in Tottenham v Brentford betting tips to record back-to-back victories.

A draw can be found at 29/10, with a score draw 19/5, while Spurs have conceded the first goal in their last two matches and it is 2/1 for the Bees to strike first.

Brentford’s back-line has proven leaky on their travels and over 3.5 goals is 21/20, while it is 3/4 for Spurs to score two or more in Tottenham v Brentford betting tips.

Tottenham v Brentford head-to-head

These two have never met in the top flight and have met only once this century, with Spurs taking home the spoils when they met in the EFL Cup last season.

Tottenham registered a 2-0 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium then and it is 13/2 for a repeat of that result in Tottenham v Brentford betting tips.

Son Heung-Min grabbed a second-half goal on that occasion and he is 2/1 to score at anytime in a Spurs victory.

Another Tottenham success to nil is priced up at 7/4, while it is 17/5 for the hosts to win both halves.

Tottenham v Brentford key battles

Brentford have kept only two clean sheets away from home this term and have conceded three in each of their last two away from the Community Stadium.

That will give Harry Kane hope he could notch just his second league goal of the season.

Although on the scoresheet in Mura last time, the England skipper has struggled on the domestic front this term.

Conte will be desperate to see his star man turn a corner and the 28-year-old is 13/5 to break the deadlock on Thursday evening. It is 4/1 for him to score two or more and 11/10 to bag in a Spurs victory.

You can also get 23/20 on Kane to have two or more shots on target in a Tottenham victory or 11/5 for over 2.5 goals and five or more shots from the England frontman as #YourCall specials.
