Roy Hodgson favourite to be first Premier League boss to leave
Will the former England manager be the first to get the sack this season?
Our traders have priced Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson at 5/1 to be the first Premier League manager to leave their position this season.
West Ham manager David Moyes is the second favourite at 6/1 to leave his post.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard can be backed at 25/1, the fourth-highest odds of any manager alongside Sheffield United’s Billy Wilder and Manchester United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, while it’s 200/1 that we go through the whole season with no departures.
“The sack race is about to begin once again and we make Roy Hodgson the favourite to be the first Premier League manager to leave their role this season,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
“David Moyes and Dean Smith are also frontrunners, while we think Frank Lampard will be given plenty of time at Chelsea despite their lavish spending and he’s an outsider to be first to go,” added Aitkenhead.
