Cityzens also odds-on favourites to claim the Carabao Cup

After impressive performances in their last two matches, Manchester City are the 5/6 favourites to win this season’s Premier League.

Pep Guardiola’s side sit fifth in the table, four points off top spot with two games in hand over defending champions Liverpool following a convincing 3-1 win over Chelsea on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are 5/2 second favourites to claim their second Premier League title in as many years, with Manchester United 6/1 to win their first title since 2013.

Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Manchester City are hitting top form, sensational in their league victory at Chelsea and cup win at United. We now make them odds-on to win the title this season.”

The Cityzens are also odds-on 4/9 favourites to win their fourth Carabao Cup in a row, reaching the 2021 showpiece after beating city rivals Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford.

They’ll come up against Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur, who are 7/4 to claim their first piece of silverware since winning the League Cup in 2008 after seeing off Championship side Brentford in their semi-final.

“It’ll be Pep vs Jose for the first trophy of the 2020/21 season and we make Manchester City favourites to make it four Carabao Cup wins on the spin and deny Jose a first trophy at Spurs,” added Aitkenhead.

Ahead of the third round of this season’s FA Cup, Guardiola’s side are the 100/30 favourites to reclaim the trophy they won in 2019, with defending champions Arsenal 10/1 to add to their record tally of 14.

Chelsea are 7/1 to win the tournament, with Liverpool 15/2 to win for the first time since 2006, while Manchester United and Tottenham are 8/1.

Carabao Cup semi-finalists Brentford are the shortest-priced team not in the top flight at 80/1.

“City have made it to the final of the Carabao Cup once again and as the FA Cup third round begins, we make them the favourites to go all the way in the oldest competition and lift the trophy,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.

“Aston Villa and West Ham are enjoying strong seasons and with last year’s threat of relegation well behind them this time around, could go full tilt at the FA Cup. They are both 28/1 outsiders to win the tournament,” added Aitkenhead.
