Manchester United v Arsenal betting tips: First big test for Gunners
Man Utd v Arsenal betting tips, odds and preview
Arsenal sit proudly on top of the table after five wins from their first five matches.
They now face a Manchester United side who edged out Leicester 1-0 on Thursday night.
Sunday’s match kicks off at 4.30pm and is live on Sky Sports as we pick out some Man Utd v Arsenal betting tips.
United on the up at last
Jadon Sancho continued Manchester United’s revival as his winner sunk struggling Leicester.
The England forward fired United up to fifth, six points behind leaders Arsenal, after a 1-0 win at the King Power Stadium.
It is also the first time United have recorded three straight Premier League wins since April 2021 as they rediscover their momentum after a nightmare start.

Boss Erik ten Hag told BT Sport: “It is another step forward so I am happy with that.
“We showed good team spirit. We had 11 players the on pitch who fought for each other and scored a lovely team goal.
“Still, there is improvements to make but that is normal at this stage of the season.
“There were many spaces that we did not exploit that well. With better decisions we should have scored a second goal. We have to be more ruthless but, as I said, there is room for improvement.”
United also boosted their ranks with the signing of Brazil winger Antony from Ajax.
They are 6/4 to make it four wins in a row and end Arsenal’s unbeaten run but a draw at 5/2 has a lot of appeal and that begins our Man Utd v Arsenal betting tips.
High five for Arsenal
Arsenal claimed their fifth successive Premier League victory of the season after Gabriel Martinelli hit the winner against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.
A deserved 2-1 win meant the Gunners remained top of the table with a perfect record, with Martinelli settling the game after Douglas Luiz had levelled direct from a corner.
Gabriel Jesus had earlier opened the scoring with his third goal of the season.
For the second home game in a row, Mikel Arteta’s side showed their guile to seal the three points after they had come from behind to beat Fulham four days earlier.
💬 "The team competed really well and when we need to – we have that character and resilience to respond."

Arteta said: “That’s the mentality we want to show as a team and the character we want to show, to react immediately.
“The disappointment of conceding goals is part of the game, like giving the ball away or having a bad action is.
“It’s about the next action, the next phase and again, when you play in front of this crowd that helps. The energy they generate is just amazing.”
This is Arsenal’s first game against a ‘big six’ team and we are backing them to avoid defeat, with a score draw at 3/1 added to Man Utd v Arsenal betting tips.
Man Utd v Arsenal meetings
The highly-charged title showdowns of the early 2000s might be a thing of the past for now but these meetings are still tight affairs.
United took the honours 3-2 at Old Trafford last December and Arsenal won the return 3-1 in April.
Jesus never netted against United when playing for neighbours City but has been in excellent form for the Gunners since his summer switch.
The Brazilian is 7/2 to score last and that completes our Man Utd v Arsenal betting tips.
