Leicester v Arsenal betting tips: Gunners lack pop on the road
Preview and odds for Saturday’s Premier League clash
Arsenal travel to Leicester for a big lunchtime Premier League clash so we examine the odds to find some Leicester v Arsenal betting tips.
The Foxes won 2-1 at Brentford last Sunday and have had a little extra rest as Arsenal beat Aston Villa at home last Friday before knocking Leeds out of the League Cup on Tuesday to reach the quarter-finals.
Saturday’s match, which takes place at the King Power Stadium, kicks off at 12.30pm and is live on BT Sport.
Leicester v Arsenal match odds
It will be interesting to see what effect, if any, the speculation linking Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers with the Manchester United manager’s role – should it become available – will have on his players.
As outlined in the Next Man Utd Manager article, the former Liverpool and Celtic boss is among the favourites to take over at Old Trafford should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer be relieved of his position following United’s 5-0 home defeat to bitter rivals Liverpool last Sunday.
The Foxes are in good form having beaten Manchester United, Spartak Moscow and Brentford in their last three games, scoring 10 goals in total.
Leicester, ninth in the Premier League and eight points behind leaders Chelsea, are looking for three consecutive league victories for the first time since winning their first three games in 2021 against Newcastle, Southampton and Chelsea and are 29/20 to do just that.
The Gunners are level on points and a place below the Foxes in the table.
They arrive on the back of two draws and a win in the league and a 2-0 victory over Leeds in the League Cup.
Having lost consecutive away Premier League games at the start of February, Arsenal have since been defeated in just two of their 11 league games on the road (W6 D3).
They are 9/5 to take all three points with the draw at 12/5.

Leicester v Arsenal head-to-head
Mikel Arteta’s side won twice away against Leicester last season – 2-0 in the League Cup and 3-1 in the Premier League.
They’ve not won three consecutive away games against the Foxes in all competitions since September 1925.
After a 22-game winless run against Arsenal in the Premier League between 1995 and 2018, Leicester have won four of their last seven in the competition (D1 L2) and it is 4/9 they avoid defeat in the Double Chance market.
Five of the last eight meetings saw three goals or more scored and it is 8/11 this will be the case again.
Leicester v Arsenal key battles
There is no doubt Arsenal fans will feel their side have to be a little more adventurous against Leicester, who have conceded at least once in 10 of their last 11 games.
However, the Gunners have scored just one goal in their four Premier League away games so far this season, with only Norwich (six) having fewer attempts on target on the road than their nine.
Rodgers will know his side have to take their chances, owing to uncertainty in defence.
Talismanic striker Jamie Vardy rarely lets him down against Arsenal.
He has scored more Premier League goals (11) against the Gunners than any other side in the competition and is 6/4 to strike at any time.
