Everton v Norwich betting tips: Canaries seek first points
Preview and odds for Saturday’s Premier League clash
Everton welcome the Premier League’s bottom team on Saturday and we have examined the odds for some Everton v Norwich betting tips.
Rafael Benitez’s side suffered their first defeat of the season when thumped 3-0 by Aston Villa last week, but will hope to redress the balance when they host the Canaries, who look certain to return to the Championship on what they have shown thus far.
Saturday’s match, which takes place at Goodison Park, kicks off at 3pm.
Everton v Norwich match odds
Everton are 8/13 to bounce back from their drubbing at Villa Park and beat a Norwich side who are still looking for their first points of the season.
The Toffeemen, who sit sixth in the table with 10 points from their five games, have won each of their last three home league games, including two this term against Southampton and Burnley (both 3-1). They last won more consecutively at Goodison Park between March and September 2019 under Marco Silva (six wins).
Norwich have made the worst possible start since being promoted. Daniel Farke has seen his side score just twice in five games and they have shipped 14 goals, losing each game.
Indeed, the Canaries have earned just six points from their last 72 available away from home in the Premier League and are winless in 14 on the road since beating Everton 2-0 in November 2019.

Farke has lost his last 15 Premier League games, which is the longest losing run by one manager in English top-flight history.
If there is a ray of hope, it is that Everton have lost three of their last four home league games against sides starting the day bottom of the table.
Norwich, who lost 3-1 at home to Watford last week, are 24/5 to win at Goodison Park and it is 4/1 for the draw, which has been the result in five of the last 12 meetings.
Everton v Norwich head-to-head
Everton have only lost one of their last seven home league meetings with Norwich, though it was the last time the sides met at Goodison Park.
After winning three of their first four Premier League meetings with Everton, Norwich have won just two of their subsequent 14 against the Toffees in the top flight and it is 11/8 that they avoid defeat here in the Everton v Norwich betting tips.
Five of the last seven meetings saw one or other team fail to score. The odds for that to be the case this time are 20/23.
In four of the last 13 meetings there have been fewer than three goals scored in total and it is 10/11 for that to occur again.
Everton v Norwich key battles
One of the shrewder signings of the season was Everton’s capture of Demarai Gray from Bayer Leverkusen and he is showing the form that could soon see him in contention for another international call-up.
The former Birmingham and Leicester striker has netted three goals in five games for Everton and is 6/4 to score at any time, which would equal his previous season-best tally in the top flight.
If Norwich have any threat, it comes from Teemu Pukki, who has scored 13 of Norwich’s last 28 Premier League goals, netting both so far this campaign. He is 9/4 to score at any time and 6/1 to score the first goal in Everton v Norwich betting tips.
