Diego Costa is now odds-on to join Wolves
With Raul Jimenez still injured, will Nuno Espírito Santo turn to the free agent?
Former Atletico Madrid and Chelsea striker Diego Costa is odds-on at 8/11 with our traders to sign for Wolverhampton Wanderers, which would see the Brazilian make a return to the Premier League.
Costa is 5/1 in the betting to join any Chinese club, while he is 5/1 to for a return to football in his birth country of Brazil.
Costa was released by Atletico Madrid after an agreement by mutual consent saw his contract terminated at the end of December, citing personal reasons. Reports in recent days have suggested that Costa’s wage demands could prove a stumbling block, but with Wolves desperate for reinforcements up top, can an agreement be reached?
“Some of the best years of Diego Costa’s career came with Chelsea and a return to the Premier League could now come with Wolves as the Brazilian has been linked with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side. The Brazilian striker is odds-on in our betting to sign a contract for the Midlands club over the next few weeks,” said Coral’s John Hill.
