Preview and odds for Sunday’s Premier League clash

We look at the odds to explore potential Crystal Palace v Leicester betting tips as the hosts bid to maintain their unbeaten home record against the Foxes.

Crystal Palace allowed a lead to slip in the fifth minute of added time against rivals Brighton on Monday, while Leicester were held to a draw at home by Burnley.

Sunday’s match, which takes place at Selhurst Park, kicks off at 2pm and is live on Sky Sports.

Crystal Palace v Leicester match odds

Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace side missed a great chance to move up the table on Monday when Neal Maupay’s 95th-minute leveller saw Brighton steal a point in a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park.

Palace are 15th in the table ahead of the seventh round of fixtures, with six points. They have won one and drawn three of their opening Premier League games.

That late leveller was the only goal they have conceded at home this term and they are 21/10 to beat Leicester.

Indeed, Palace are unbeaten in their three home league games this season. They have only remained unbeaten in their first four home league games in one of the last 24 campaigns (2019-20).

Vieira may well be relishing seeing Leicester again, as he never lost to them in 11 meetings as a player.

The Foxes are two places and one point above Palace after an indifferent start. They have suffered three defeats and won two games, with Burnley taking a point off Brendan Rodgers’ side in a 2-2 draw at the King Power Stadium last weekend.

Leicester, who are 13/10 to win, have lost each of their three Premier League away games against London sides, as many as they had in their previous 14 trips to the capital (W6 D5 L3).

They drew 1-1 in this corresponding fixture last season and the draw is available at 9/4 in the Crystal Palace v Leicester betting tips.

Crystal Palace v Leicester head-to-head

Leicester have won just one of their last five away league games against Crystal Palace (D2 L2), winning 2-0 in November 2019.

However, after a four-game winning run against them, Palace have failed to win any of their last four against the Foxes in the Premier League (D1 L3). Leicester are 1/3 to win or draw the game on the Double Chance market.

There are invariably goals when these two meet. Seven of the last 10 meetings yielded three goals or more in total and it is 19/20 that over 2.5 goals will be scored this time.

Crystal Palace v Leicester key battles

Rodgers appears to have a problem with his defence. Since keeping back-to-back away clean sheets in February, Leicester have conceded in each of their last 10 away Premier League games.

However, they’ve also scored in each of these 10 games, so the odds for both sides to score are 8/11 in the Crystal Palace v Leicester betting tips.

Wilfried Zaha could not have picked a better opponent in his bid to reach a target of 50 Premier League goals.

The Palace winger, on 49 goals after netting against Brighton, has been involved in eight goals in 12 Premier League games against Leicester (six goals, two assists) and is 21/10 to score at any time.
