Brentford v Norwich betting tips: Canaries show no signs of life
Preview and odds for Saturday’s Premier League clash
The battle of two promoted teams takes place in the Premier League as we look at the odds to find some Brentford v Norwich betting tips.
Norwich are still searching for their first win of the season while Brentford are hoping to break a run of three successive defeats since they beat West Ham at the London Stadium.
Saturday’s match, which takes place at the Brentford Community Stadium, kicks off at 3pm.
Brentford v Norwich match odds
Brentford made a fine start to life in the Premier League for the first time in their history but have now lost their last three league matches – their joint-worst run under boss Thomas Frank.
They haven’t lost four in a row since December 2016 in the Championship under Dean Smith.
Outside of beating Arsenal and holding Liverpool to a 2-2 draw, their home form has been patchy.
The Bees have lost three of their last four home league matches (D1), as many as in their previous 33 combined (W19 D11).
They enter this clash on the back of a 3-1 defeat at Burnley, although they have reached the last eight of the League Cup, and are 3/5 to beat Norwich.
The visitors look doomed after just 10 games.
After their 2-1 reverse at home to Leeds last weekend, Norwich are bottom of the table having picked up just two points from a possible 30 and they have scored a total of three goals while shipping 25.
They have yet to score away from Carrow Road and are only the second team to fail to net in their first five away top-flight matches of a season.
They have also conceded 15 goals on the road and the only other team to do as badly were Derby in 2007-08 (0 scored, 17 conceded), who went on to finish with a record Premier League-low 11 points.
The Canaries are 5/1 to win while the draw is available at 14/5 in the Brentford v Norwich betting tips.

Brentford v Norwich head-to-head
The Bees are winless in their last five league meetings with the Canaries, drawing 1-1 twice and losing 1-0 three times in this run.
Norwich haven’t lost an away league game against Brentford since August 2009 (2-1 in League One), winning two and drawing three of their five visits since then.
It is 27/20 Norwich either win or draw the game in the Double Chance market.
The last five meetings all yielded fewer than three total goals and it is 4/5 this will be the case again.
Both sides scored in five of the last 13 meetings in all competitions and it is 3/4 one team fails to score.
Brentford v Norwich key battles
Time is already running out for Norwich.
They simply must find a win from somewhere or they will be back in the Championship.
They are winless in their last 25 away Premier League games in London (D6 L19), since a 2-1 victory at Spurs in April 2012, and have lost the last 11 in the capital so Brentford are 6/4 to win to nil.
Furthermore, Norwich have taken just two points from their last 20 Premier League matches (D2 L18) and haven’t scored more than once in any of their last 28 top-flight games.
It is 7/10 they score a goal and 17/5 they strike more than once.
