Odds and preview ahead of tonight’s matches

Liverpool may have sewn up the Premier League title but it’s still all to play for in the race for Europe and the battle for survival.

Four games take place tonight and there are plenty of teams from both ends of the table desperately hoping to get points on the board.

After sitting pretty in the top four for most of the season, Leicester are in danger of blowing their Champions League hopes, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Wolves in hot pursuit.

Meanwhile, Norwich need a miracle to stop themselves dropping straight back into the Championship.

Ahead of tonight’s matches, we’ve taken a look at the latest odds and how the results could affect the table.

West Ham v Chelsea (20:15)

The Hammers won the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge back in November but the two sides have suffered contrasting fortunes since then.

David Moyes’ side are skating on thin ice, only out of the bottom three on goal difference, while Chelsea are unbeaten in five Premier League matches and are now just a point behind third-placed Leicester.

The Blues are the clear favourites to triumph tonight at 8/15, with underdogs West Ham going at 11/2. The draw is 16/5.

Chelsea are just 1/4 to finish in the top four and despite their form, they’ll be feeling the pressure, with Manchester United and Wolves continuing to pick up points.

Christian Pulisic has bagged in both league matches since football resumed and the USA international is priced at 4/1 to open the scoring or 17/2 to score twice or more.

Aaron Cresswell scored the winner when the two sides met earlier in the season and the left-back is 22/1 to score in a home win.

Everton v Leicester (18:00)

After a stunning start to the season, Leicester’s campaign has come to a standstill. They’re yet to win since football returned and top scorer Jamie Vardy has only scored twice since December.

Tonight they face a resolute Everton side who have slowly but surely improved under Carlo Ancelotti and a late run to reach the Europa League is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Leicester won the reverse fixture 2-1 but Everton are slight favourites at 31/20 tonight against their 15/8 opponents.

Jamie Vardy

The Foxes remain odds-on for a top-four finish but they’re now just two points clear of Wolves and United, who they face on the final day of the season.

They’ll need Vardy to rediscover his prolific form if they want to rescue their season and the 33-year-old is 7/2 to score first at Goodison Park.

But the Toffees haven’t conceded in their last two matches and our traders have them at 16/5 to win to nil.

Arsenal v Norwich (18:00)

A few weeks ago, Norwich would have fancied their chances of securing a result at the Emirates. But the Gunners seem to have found their feet after a difficult return and have won their last two in all competitions.

Mikel Arteta’s side remain 10th but they’ll leapfrog rivals Tottenham into seventh with a win tonight, which is priced at 4/9.

Norwich are going at 6/1 and they’re in danger of falling further away from safety. The Canaries are six points shy of 17th place and are now just 1/50 to be relegated.

Top scorer Teemu Pukki is on a run of seven matches without a goal and he’s 17/10 to end that drought tonight, while Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is 8/13 to score for the first time in five games.

The two sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at Carrow Road earlier this season and a repeat of that scoreline tonight is priced at 16/1.

Bournemouth v Newcastle (18:00)

Bournemouth are another side in freefall having not won in the last six matches and they come up against a Newcastle side unbeaten in four.

Eddie Howe’s side are odds-on to be relegated and desperately need points. They’re the slight favourites to win tonight at 29/20, with Newcastle priced at 21/10.

Eddie Howe

A win for Bournemouth could see them climb to 16th but with United, Tottenham, Leicester and Manchester City to come in their next four matches, the future doesn’t look bright for the Cherries.

The Magpies won the reverse fixture 2-1 and they’re 11/1 to do so again this evening. Meanwhile, Andy Carroll has come off the bench in both of Newcastle’s last two matches and he’s going at 15/2 to score the last goal of the game.
