The two teams have met seven times previously in the Champions League and Porto are yet to win, although they managed a home draw in 2007 and a goalless draw at Anfield in 2018 when they were already 5-0 down from the first leg.

Salah and Mane both played the full 90 minutes in Liverpool’s 4-0 demolition of Arsenal at the weekend and it would be a surprise if they both started here.

Porto eased to a 5-1 cup win against Feirense at the weekend so should be relatively fresh.
