Nations League betting tips, predictions and odds

The countdown is on to the World Cup but before then the group stage of the Nations League has to be completed.

The final round of matches gets under way on Sunday and we have Nations League betting tips for the four matches taking place in the top league.

Austria v Croatia

Three straight wins have propelled Croatia to the top of Group A1 and victory in Vienna would see them secure their place in the finals.

Thursday night’s 2-1 victory at home to Denmark gave us a winning selection for our Nations League betting tips after we predicted they would win by one goal and there is a lot to like about this Croatia team when the pressure is on.

Austria were surprising 3-0 winners in the reverse fixture but have struggled since then, picking up just one more point to sit bottom of the group.

Their squad lacks the depth of Croatia’s and an away win at 31/20 kicks off our Nations League predictions today.

Denmark v France

France have flopped in the Nations League and have no hope of progressing but the World Cup on the horizon will have focused minds.

Les Bleus gave us another winning tip on Thursday as Kylian Mbappe scored in a France win, netting the opener in a 2-0 victory.

Didier Deschamps will be keen to avoid an upset in the France v Switzerland betting tips

That lifted France off the bottom of the group but they must win in Copenhagen to be certain of avoiding relegation.

Didier Deschamps has a few injuries to contend with but France are unbeaten on their travels since June 2019 and are fancied to stave off relegation with a win at 11/10.

Netherlands v Belgium

Netherlands already have one foot in the finals and only need to avoid a defeat by three goals or more to complete the job.

A 2-0 victory in Poland on Thursday night means the job is almost done but Belgium kept the pressure on with a 2-1 victory over Wales.

The Dutch have been impressive throughout the campaign, taking 13 points from five matches which included a 4-1 win in the reverse fixture.

They have scored at least two goals in every game but have only managed one clean sheet so with Belgium needing to go for goals, we like 11/4 for a home win and both teams to score.

Wales v Poland

Wales remain bottom of Group A4 after losing to Belgium but Poland’s defeat at the same time means the Dragons can climb off the bottom by beating the Poles in Cardiff.

Captain Gareth Bale is likely to start on Sunday after coming on as a second-half substitute in Brussels.

Bale only had one training session after joining the camp late from the United States on Tuesday after playing for Los Angeles FC the previous day.

With Bale back in the team and over 30,000 fans giving the team a World Cup send-off, we think Wales can rise to the occasion so a home win at 17/10 completes our Nations League betting tips today.
