With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future at Manchester United uncertain, Mauricio Pochettino is the odds-on 1/2 favourite to replace him at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer’s Red Devils side sit 14th in the league after seven games, with three wins and three defeats, a record which has put the Norwegian as the 6/4 second favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his position.

Should Pochettino not become the next Manchester United manager, Massimiliano Allegri is the 6/1 second favourite.

The Italian, a six-time Serie A winner, has been without a job since leaving Juventus in 2019.  Red Bull Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann is 10/1 in the betting.

Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Ole enjoyed a timely win at Everton before the international break but Poch remains waiting in the wings. We make the former Spurs man firmly odds on to be the next Manchester United manager.”

Only Slaven Bilic is more likely to face the sack from West Brom, as the Croatian manager is the 5/4 favourite to become the next Premier League manager to depart.

“Slaven Bilic is off to a nightmare start to the season with West Brom and he is now the new favourite in the sack race,” added Aitkenhead.
