Mauricio Pochettino has been cut to 11/10 to be the nextmanager of Newcastle.

The Magpies are set to be taken over by a Saudi-ledconsortium, whose enormous wealth has led to plenty of transfer speculation.

It has also sparked rumours about the future of current bossSteve Bruce, with suggestions that the new owners could look to bring in theirown man.

Pochettino has seen his odds cut from 15/8 to 11/10this week, while former manager Rafael Benitez is second-favourite at 2/1.

“With a takeover looming, it is no surprise that MauricioPochettino is the clear favourite to be the next Newcastle manager,” saidCoral’s John Hill.

“Rafael Benitez and Kevin Keegan are also both prominent in the betting to makea return to the hot seat at St James’ Park.”
