Manchester United cut to 7/2 to win Europa League
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are clear favourites
Manchester United’s odds to win this season’s UEFA Europa League title have been shortened even further after today’s last 16 draw.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s brushed aside Club Brugge 6-0 on aggregate in the Round of 32 and will now face LASK Linz in the last 16 of the competition.
The draw has seen their odds cut to 7/2 to win the trophy for a second time in four years, after the Red Devils won their first title in 2017.
“Manchester United will be pleased with the draw they have been faced with in the last 16 of the Europa League and are now the clear favourites to lift the trophy in Gdansk,” said Coral’s John Hill.
After Arsenal and Celtic fell to defeat in the Round of 32, only three British sides remain in the competition.
Wolves face Olympiakos in the last 16, and sit as third favourites at 11/2, with Steven Gerrard’s Rangers outsiders at 50/1 thanks to an unfavourable tie against Bayer Leverkusen.
