Brazil will put their perfect record in World Cup qualifying on the line when they host Ecuador in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The Selecao lead the way in South America with four wins out of four but third-placed Ecuador have also made a promising start in their bid to reach the finals of the 2022 tournament.

Brazil look set to qualify for the World Cup with ease and are the 2/9 favourites to start the campaign with five straight wins by beating Ecuador.
Tite’s men began in style with a 5-0 thumping of Bolivia at home before a 4-2 win in Peru. That was followed by a 1-0 victory at home to Venezuela and a 2-0 win in Uruguay, with another Brazil win to nil available at 10/11.
They only lost to a Lionel Messi penalty in their opening game in Argentina and have bounced back well to claim three straight wins against Uruguay (4-2), Bolivia (3-2) and Colombia (6-1).
That makes them the top scorers with 13 goals – one ahead of Brazil – so an entertaining match could be in store this weekend.

Brazil v Ecuador head-to-head
Ecuador have only managed two wins in 18 previous meetings with Brazil, the most recent of which was in 2004, and both were on home soil.
They have failed to find the net in the last four meetings although they held Brazil to a goalless draw at the 2016 Copa America.
This is the first time the teams have met since September 2017 when Brazil edged a World Cup qualifier 2-0 thanks to second-half goals from Paulinho and Philippe Coutinho.

Key battles
The goals have been flowing for Ecuador so far and they have had nine different goalscorers but they may adopt a more cautious approach against Brazil, who will be well organised at the back having fielded the same back four for all their qualifiers so far.
Brazil are likely to dominate possession in midfield and Ecuador must try to stop Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz supplying service to the likely front three of Neymar, Roberto Firmino and Richarlison.
Neymar is the biggest danger and scored a hat-trick against Peru last year. The PSG star is the 14/5 favourite to open the scoring and 4/1 to bag at least a brace.
