West Ham have lost their opening two fixtures this season

After a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal last weekend, David Moyes is the 2/1 favourite to become the first managerial casualty in the Premier League this season.

Despite a vastly improved performance from his West Ham side, Moyes’ Hammers are one of four teams to have lost both of their opening Premier League fixtures.

Newly-promoted London rivals Fulham are another to have lost two from two, with Scott Parker 5/1 to be the first manager to go, while Jose Mourinho is 6/1 despite an impressive second-half Spurs performance in their 5-2 win over Southampton.

Coral’s John Hill said: “Although it was a much improved performance from West Ham, the Hammers have lost their opening two games now which puts David Moyes under early pressure so it is no surprise that the Scotsman tops our first manager to leave market”.

First Premier League manager to go

2/1 David Moyes, 5/1 Scott Parker, 6/1 Jose Mourinho, 8/1 Slaven Bilic, 10/1 Roy Hodgson, 12/1 Steve Bruce, 14/1 Sean Dyche
