Clubs voted to end the season yesterday

Coral have announced they will be settling all ante-post bets placed on League One and League Two.

The EFL confirmed yesterday that clubs in the two divisions have voted to end the season, with the final league standings being settled on a points per game basis.

As well as paying out on those bets that were deemed winners under the revised standings, Coral will also be voiding and refunding any bets that had a mathematical chance of winning.

Coral’s John Hill said: “Following the EFL’s announcement on how the current League One and League Two seasons are to be concluded, which gives us confirmation of the final league tables, all Coral ante-post markets for the two divisions will be settled as per our rules, which means based on the official league finishing positions.

“However, given the unprecedented nature of the events that have led to this premature end to the season, we will also be voiding any ante-post bets placed on these two Leagues that mathematically – however unlikely – still had a chance of winning, and refunding those stakes in full to customers, which we believe is the fairest way of dealing with such an extraordinary occurrence.”
