With eight matches set to take place across the weekend, we take a look at the key battles in the Belarusian top-flight.

It remains tight at the top of the table going into the weekend, with league leaders Slutsksakhar Slutsk hanging on to the top spot in the face of some stiff competition. But will the table look a little different once this round of fixtures has played out?

Here’s who is playing and when…

Friday

Current leaders Slutsksakhar Slutsk are unbeaten in five and will look to preserve that record when they play 4th placed Zvezda-Va-Bgu Minsk on Friday afternoon at 16:00 (UK time). Slutsk are our 6/5 favourites going into this one, with BGU found at 21/10, with the draw also priced at 21/10.

Friday’s other match-up sees 10th placed Gorodeya at 7/4 as they  face Minsk down in 12th and priced at 19/5 to win.

Saturday

Saturday’s biggest game sees Salvia Mozyr take on Torpedo-Belaz, with both sides near the top of the chasing pack, Mozyr are 33/20 to claim victory, while Torpedo Belaz can be backed at 8/5.

Saturday’s other match sees struggling Neman Grodno at 27/20 take on Ruh Brest at 21/10. Both sides have won just once in their last five and will be targeting all three points on Saturday.

Sunday

There are a further four games to be found on Sunday and Wigwam Smolevichy v BATE Borisov is our pick of the bunch. BATE won the league 13 times consecutively until their streak was ended last season, but three points today will help them on their way to reclaiming the throne.

Wigwam are outsiders to win at 12/1, while BATE are 1/4 favourites to take all three points.

Sunday’s other games are Vitebsk v Soligorsk, Isloch v Belshina Bobruisk and Dinamo Brest v Dinamo Minsk.
