Odds and preview for Friday’s fixtures

Belarus will be the centre of the football world on Friday, as the only professional league in Europe that’s still going continues.

We’ve got two games to look forward to, with three of the four teams involved looking for their first points of the new campaign.

Belshina Bobruisk host Gorodeya, before Dinamo Minsk take on Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino. Ahead of the action, we’ve got the key odds and info for both games…

Belshina Bobruisk v Gorodeya – 15:00

The two sides at the foot of the table face off here, with both sides determined to kick-start their season with a win.

With zero points between them, our traders think home advantage could play a part here. Crowds are still permitted in Belarus and our traders have the hosts as 11/8 favourites.

Gorodeya are bottom, but they’ve also got the dubious honour of being the only side in the division yet to score. A Belshina win to nil is going for 13/5, while Both Sides to Score – No is odds-on at 2/3.

We’d expect a cagey game here, with both sides wary of opening up too much and inviting trouble at the other end. With that in mind, there’s 9/5 about the draw and out traders have a 0-0 scoreline at 11/2 in the Correct Score market.

Dinamo Minsk v Torpedo Zhodino – 17:00

Despite finishing fourth last season, Dinamo Minsk find themselves down in 13th after losing both of their opening two games.

However, they did manage to claw two goals back after going down to ten men while 3-0 behind against city rivals Minks last weekend. And last season’s fourth-placed finish shows they have the quality to climb the table.

Our traders have them as 23/20 favourites to beat a Zhodino side with a spotless record so far. The visitors have six points from six and have yet to concede a goal.

Yuri Pintus’ team also beat Dinamo by an aggregate scoreline of 7-0 in the two meetings last year. We’ve got them at 12/5 to take the points this time.

Zhodino have won both of their outings so far this term by a single goal to nil. It’s 7/1 that they do it again here, while an away win to nil is available for 17/4.
