Our Matchday Squad journalist will be covering Scotland throughout Euro 2020

I’m expecting better from Scotland this time around. I’ve got to say England were very impressive in their first game. Kalvin Phillips was superb, Kieran Trippier playing at left back raised a few eyebrows but he was excellent and Raheem Sterling also justified his selection with a goal. Gareth got it all right.

England could have, and probably should have, scored more goals. Scotland, on the other hand, should have scored a goal. That was our downfall against the Czech Republic. We have to do better in front of goal.

I’m expecting changes and I think Adams will start. I think Billy Gilmour should start too but whether he does, I’m not sure. It may also be worth bringing Patterson in as well to get some fresh legs in there.

We’ve got to get something from this game. I am predicting a draw, most likely a score draw. England 1-1 Scotland. Come on Scotland!
