Published:International football tips for Tuesday
The international break draws to a close, at least across Europe, with some testing trials and glamour games for some of the continent’s football royalty. So, here at Coral our experts have compiled four superb shouts and an awesome acca including England v Spain odds for punters’ pleasure.
With the likes of the Three Lions, La Roja, Italy, Germany and France all in action, read on for our tasty international football tips for Tuesday, November 15th…
Spanish success and under 2.5 goals in England v Spain odds
Among our great value England v Spain odds is a promising price of 18/5 for La Roja to run out winners at Wembley and under 2.5 goals in the game.
Gareth Southgate’s side should be boosted by their victory over Scotland and have not conceded across their last four fixtures. This should be enough for The Three Lions to make things tight for Spain, but La Roja are still a cut above.
Having leaked one goal and scored 17 in their last five, the Iberian outfit look a force again. There have also been under 2.5 goals in all of the previous five match-ups between these two teams, with Spanish success in four, making that 18/5 price for more of the same truly appealing.
A draw among best Italy v Germany bets
This magnificent match-up may have Milan as its grand stage, as San Siro gets set to host the world champions, but glamour games such as this often see threats on both sides nullified.
Italy have home advantage and are unbeaten in four, while visiting Germany are also on a rampant run of five successive victories. The Azzurri will prove a much sterner test than neighbours San Marino, however, with two of the last three friendly frays between these giants ending all even.
There have been more draws in their duelling history than Die Mannschaft wins, while you’d have to go back to the days before reunification to find when the Germans last defeated Italy away. With that, plus it taking penalties to split the pair at Euro 2016, a draw at 9/4 could prove profitable.
Both teams to bag and under 3.5 goals in N.Ireland v Croatia
Plucky Northern Ireland may be up against it as Croatia come to town – but that’s when they excel! Neither side has had trouble scoring of late, with Norn Iron notching eight across their past two at home thanks to the exploits of Kyle Lafferty and co.
It will be much tougher to smuggle any strikes past Croatia, though, who have not conceded once in their last three.
While, the Blazers have bagged eight in their previous three outings, with the likes of Mario Mandzukic and Marcelo Brozovic in fine form. Croatia will be without main man Luka Modric, however, meaning Michael O’Neill’s men may be at least able to nick a goal, though their main task will likely be to batten down the hatches.
So, considering form, absences and home advantage both teams look good to get on the scoresheet with under 3.5 goals in the game at 21/10.
Giroud to outscore opponents Ivory Coast
France were winners in their last home collision with Ivory Coast, and the Elephants will be expecting an onslaught from the Euro 2016 finalists.
With Antoine Griezmann returning to Atletico Madrid after a foot injury last time out, the scoring mantle must surely fall to Olivier Giroud.
Fighting for his place at Arsenal, and potentially with Kevin Gameiro for his France spot, Giroud is never more deadly than with a point to prove. So, why not take tempting odds of 12/5 for Giroud to out-gun the opposition?
