Michael Keane return to Man Utd?

Paul Pogba might not be the only forgotten son to return to Red Devils ranks, as tabloids and bookies are now tipping Jose Mourinho’s Old Trafford outfit as favourites to re-sign Burnley centre back Michael Keane.

It’s no secret that Man Utd require rearguard reinforcements and, if you believe press reports, passion for the club. So, United academy product Keane could be an ideal signing to fill in for injured Eric Bailly and to put pressure on under-performing pair Chris Smalling and Daley Blind.

Since leaving Old Trafford, Keane has spent three campaigns with the Clarets and earned a call-up to the England squad. It was believed Chelsea were previously keen on the 23-year-old, but the Red Devils could now return for the defender.

Everton transfers for Zekhnini and Lookman?

Sticking with the Northwest, rumours suggest Everton are ready to invest in the future. Teenage talents Rafik Zekhnini (18) and Ademola Lookman (19) are both reported as being on the Toffees’ radar this morning.

The Merseysiders may have to fight of other suitors such as Man Utd and Arsenal to land Lookman, as the Charlton Athletic wingman, who can also play as a forward, has impressed in League One with three goals in 15 games this season.

While, Everton may have a clearer path to Norwegian net threat Zekhnini, as the starlet’s current club Odd BK have given the Toffees permission to talk to the flexible young forward – at least according to the papers. So keep an eye on this one…

Liverpool looking at Azmoun

Finally, despite already being fully stocked in attack, Liverpool have apparently take a shine to Iran international Sardar Azmoun.

The Reds could make a move for the 21-year-old Rostov talent as early as January, with the highly-rated Russian Premier League star having already scored 16 times in 22 caps.
