Five sensational strikes from Real Madrid’s birthday boy Bale

Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale is enjoying his 26th birthday today, and to join in with the celebrations, we at Coral have put together five of his best ever strikes from his career with Tottenham, Los Blancos and Wales.

Here are five of Bale’s greatest goals scored so far in his career.

Belgium 2015
The world’s most expensive footballer has been superb for his country, as he tries to guide Wales towards an unexpected place among the top nations at Euro 2016 (11/10 with Coral to win Group B).

This sublime effort came at a crucial time for Chris Coleman’s Welshman, as Bale confidently plucks the ball form the sky before dispatching clinically against Group B rivals Belgium.

Barcelona 2014
What a way to win over the Bernabeu faithful! The £85m man picked the ball up on his favoured left wing and leaves Marc Bartra for dust with an incredible burst of pace before scoring the winning Copa del Rey final goal.

Even Cristiano Ronaldo was ecstatic!

Rayo Vallecano 2014
Another sensational solo goal from the Welshman here. In a Liga clash, the birthday boy gracefully dribbled all the way from his own half, beating a helpless defender before placing perfectly into the corner.

West Ham United 2013
In his Tottenham days, Bale became an unstoppable attacking force in the Premier League, with his dazzling pace and ferocious long-range goals.

This stunning last-minute winner to claim three points against West Ham United at Upton Park sums the Welshman up perfectly. The La Liga forward gets straight to his feet after a rash challenge and instantly fires home from 30-yards to secure Spurs a late victory.

Sunderland 2013
Another world class strike from Bale. In typical fantastic fashion, the Welsh wizard teases the approaching defender before swivelling on to his deadly left foot and unleashing this beauty against Sunderland (15/8 to be relegated next season).
