Five exciting wingers to watch in the Premier League this season

In the opening week of the new season, it was mainly widemen hogging the headlines, as new Swansea City signing Andre Ayew stunned Chelsea and Leicester City’s flank threats dangerously dismantled Sunderland.
So, with that in mind, Coral experts present our five wingers to keep tabs on this term. Here’s who we will be watching…

The Croatian coach recently told press: “He was very young, about 20 years of age, when they gave him the No.10 shirt at River Plate, which is a massive club. I watched him two years ago and I wanted to take him to Besiktas, but it was difficult then.
“He will add even more creativity in the crucial parts of the pitch… in fact, I have a feeling that he will help us a lot,” added the Hammers cult hero.
West Ham’s current two up top formation may see the Argentine played more centrally than wide, but the ‘jewel’ is undoubtedly an intriguing talent.

However, following a smashing start to the new campaign, where Mahrez’s magic, including a brilliant brace, took apart the Black Cats, there will surely be suitors circling soon.
Creative, rapid and a willing runner, the France-born attacking threat has impressed in purple patches before but for his, and the Foxes’ sake, his challenge this term is to find consistency. Back him at 10/3 with Coral to bag anytime again against West Ham.

One goal and seven assists in his maiden campaign were underwhelming, despite being a new arrival in England, as the 25-year-old’s talent was obvious.
Montero was majestic in his opener for this campaign, roasting Chelsea right back Branislav Ivanovic and instrumental in Swansea snatching a point from the Blues. So, if he is starting as he means to go on, this could be a thrilling season for the Welsh club. With pace, boldness and a locker full of tricks, just more end product is needed.

Despite clocking up 12 strikes plus seven assists for the Bees, Pritchard has gone relatively under-the-radar in comparison to other perhaps over-hyped English talents.
Able to play centrally or wide, where he could find space if Spurs fail to sign anyone of note, adaptable and effective Pritchard needs the chance to prove himself in the Premier League. Can he be this season’s breakout talent ala Harry Kane?

It seems plenty of clubs were chasing the Spanish starlet, who bagged a whopping 14 assists for Barca B last season, so Tim Sherwood did well to pip rivals to the post. With the coach’s famed youth policy, we may see Traore’s tricks in the first team alongside Jack Grealish sooner rather than later.
