Coral’s cracking Europa League shouts

Never mind all the Champions League kerfuffle, the Europa League last 32 is really where it’s at, with so many top teams slugging it out for the trophy this term.

Check out our preview of the big English teams in action but, if you are after something a little more continental midweek, have a dabble on our top tips for the remaining foreign fixtures…

Borussia Dortmund v Porto – BVB 15/8 to score three or more

Dortmund have dazzled under Thomas Tuchel this term, and are renowned for their approach to attacking football. With a last 32 second leg back in Portugal, BVB will be keen to take a substantial lead across to Iberia, which makes them fantastic to back at 15/8 to score three or more.

The German giants have already notched that amount or more in 18 outings across all competitions this campaign, showing they have a nifty nose for goal with the likes of sought-after striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the ranks.

While, the Dragons have not kept a clean sheet in three and have right back Maxi Pereira and centre half Ivan Marcano, suspended and an injury doubt respectively.

Villarreal v Napoli – Little Donkeys 17/5 to win to nil

Both teams have big games due after this midweek spectacle, meaning this match-up could be tight. The Yellow Submarine are tough to beat, but don’t appear to have the potency to test Napoli, having hit just four in their past six games.

While, the Little Donkeys have an abundance of lethal attackers and game deciders to call upon, even if Maurizio Sarri decides to rest leading hitman Gonzalo Higuain, so look good value at 17/5 for a victory to nil on Spanish soil.

Valencia v Rapid Vienna – A draw at 14/5

Gary Neville’s struggles at Valencia have been well documented, and the Spanish side’s Viennese visitors will undoubtedly be hoping to take them on a whirl.

Rapid sit second in the Austrian Bundesliga but also finished top of their Europa League qualifying group, ahead of Villarreal, Viktoria Plzen and Dynamo Minsk, so will be no walkover.

As for the Bats, they have been steered to seven draws in Neville’s stint so far, so they seem value at 14/5 to split the spoils again.

Sporting Lisbon v Bayer Leverkusen – Bayer 9/2 for victory and both teams strike

Sporting stand at the summit of the Premiera Liga and are undefeated since December, meaning it will be no easy task for Leverkusen to down their hosts.

Yet, Bayer have not lost any of their previous four fixtures with the Portuguese outfit, so seem best priced at 9/2 to triumph and both teams to score. In fact, two of the German club’s previous tussles with Sporting finished this way, with wins but goals conceded.

Marseille v Athletic Bilbao – Steven Fletcher 7/4 to strike anytime

Shrewsbury-born Scotland international forward Fletcher is Marseille, and social media’s, man of the moment after a superb sliding goal to sink Trelissac.

See the glorious goal here:

As if that highlight reel strike wasn’t enough, Fletcher has now found even more French fame with his sensational L’OM initiation, including rapping to the theme tune from TV’s Prince of Bel Air.

After coming off the bench last time out, there could be a Europa League start against Basque club Bilbao and punters can back this familiar face to poach anytime at 7/4 and be the Prince of Provence.
