Al Hilal
Al Hilal are set for their fourth FIFA Club World Cup and looking to go one better than 2022, when they pushed Real Madrid all the way in a 5-3 thriller. With big names like Joao Cancelo, Aleksander Mitrovic and Ruben Neves in the squad - plus former Inter boss Simone Inzaghi calling the shots - the 19-time Saudi Pro League winners have become a recognisable threat, and have been great to watch this summer.

Al Ahly
This summer marks Al Ahly’s 10th outing at the FIFA Club World Cup, having finished third four times - most recently in 2023. They got the tournament underway in the opener against Inter Miami, and while they’re the Group A outsiders, their domestic dominance and Club World Cup experience mean they won’t be short on belief. They did fail to make it out of the groups, but took part in a thrilling 4-4 draw with Porto.

Al Ain
Flying the flag for the UAE, Al Ain face a massive challenge in Group G, with both Man City and Juventus blocking their path. They secured their spot in the States by winning the 2023/24 AFC Champions League, and will be out to make their mark as they take on two of Europe’s biggest hitters.

Atletico Madrid

Auckland City
Priced at 1000/1, Auckland City are the biggest outsiders at this year’s Club World Cup - but as 10-time NZ National Football League champs and reigning OFC Champions League winners, they won’t go down without a scrap. With Bayern Munich, Boca Juniors and Benfica in their group, they've certainly got their work cut out - highlighted by their 10-0 thrashing against Bayern.

Bayern Munich

With England skipper Harry Kane finally getting his hands on silverware this season, defenders will have their work cut out keeping him quiet, as the confident frontman heads in as one of the golden boot favourites.

Benfica
Portugal’s most decorated club, Benfica are making their Club World Cup debut this summer, joining fellow Portuguese outfit Porto in the mix. The Eagles ended the season as league runners-up and suffered heartbreak in the cup final against Sporting - conceding a stoppage-time leveller in the 101st minute before losing it in extra time.

Boca Juniors

Borussia Dortmund

Botafogo

Chelsea

Flamengo
Top of the Brazilian Serie A and flying under boss Filipe Luis, Flamengo have only lost once in the league this season - and that was a sickening 97th-minute defeat away at Cruzeiro. They’ve got serious Club World Cup pedigree too, having reached the final in 2019 before falling to Liverpool in extra time.

Inter Miami
