England defender faces Old Trafford exit
Coral makes Everton the hot favourites at 11/10 to sign Chris Smalling with the Manchester United defender likely to make a move in the summer.
Smalling was left out of Gareth Southgate’s England squad this week and is now out to 3/1 to be included in the World Cup squad.
The former Fulham defender has been inconsistent at times under Jose Mourinho. And the Portuguese manager is reportedly ready to listen to offers for the 28-year-old.
“Smalling seems set to be playing his football elsewhere next season and the early indications are that he could well be moving to Everton in a bid to save his England hopes,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
Newcastle and West Ham are both 2/1 to be the defender’s next club, whilst Arsenal can be backed at 3/1.
