Klopp can build on Chelsea win

Having secured his first Premier League victory as Liverpool boss last time out, in a 3-1 win over Chelsea, Jurgen Klopp will be confident of securing the Reds first Europa League three points, with the club odds-on at 10/11 to achieve this.

Against the Blues, everything seemed to click for Klopp’s side, with Philippe Coutinho bagging a brace, while Christian Benteke made it two goals in three matches, to add to his bullet header at home to Southampton.

The duo are 6/1 and 9/2 respectively to break the deadlock and the former especially has looked lively in recent matches.

Can Can do it again?

It was German midfielder Emre Can who got the equaliser against Rubin Kazan at Anfield and the 21-year-old was superb throughout, proving to be one of the Reds best players. At 6/1 to net in the anytime market, he represents great value, and his all-energy approach has caused teams problems.

A handful in the air, he distracts teams at set-pieces and this was how his goal came about, as he bundled in a knock down, with defenders deceived as to who was going for the initial ball, following the free-kick delivery.

Alongside him in midfield, James Milner adds just as much dynamism and available at 7/2 at any point, he is worth a punt having got into very threatening positions in the reverse fixture, giving defenders many things to think about.

Deadly Devic one to watch for Rubin

Rubin centre forward Marko Devic will know that he was more than a handful for Liverpool’s backline last time out, after his goal in front of the Kop, when he darted into space left by Nathaniel Clyne and reacted first, to evade both centre backs and finish expertly past Simon Mignolet.

At 7/4 to net anytime, he is definitely worth considering, especially after his brilliant brace in Rubin’s 2-1 win over Anzhi previously in the Russian league. After his dismissal at Anfield, left back Oleg Kuzmin is unavailable for the hosts.
