Odds and preview for the tonight’s Europa League games

After a long break the Europa League resumes tonight with four round-of-16 matches, as Man Utd look to build on a 5-0 aggregate score against LASK.

Elsewhere, Inter Milan will be looking to break their losing streak against Spanish opposition in their first leg tie with Getafe, while Shakhtar Donetsk take on Wolfsburg and Copenhagen play Istanbul Basaksehir.

Man Utd v LASK (5-0 agg) – 20:00

With a heavy aggregate win over LASK back in March, Man Utd will be more than confident of reaching the quarter-finals tonight, and Solskjaer may opt to keep faith in the fringe players who conjured such a comprehensive win last time out.

The likes of Odion Ighalo, Daniel James and Juan Mata could play, while Mason Greenwood will be desperate to add to his 17-goal tally for the season.

Man Utd are 2/9 to win tonight, with the draw at 5/1 and a LASK win at 12/1

If you think Utd could win by a big margin again, you can back over 3.5 goals at 13/10.

In the goalscorer markets Bruno Fernandes leads the way at 13/5 to score first, or 4/5 anytime, while Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood are both 5/6 to score anytime, with Odion Ighalo at 4/5.

For LASK, Marko Raguz looks the most likely scorer, with five goals already in this season’s Europa League campaign. He can be backed at 14/1 to score first, or 9/2 to net anytime.

Inter Milan v Getafe – 20:00

This first-leg round of 16 tie sees Serie A runners-up Inter take on Getafe, who finished outside the European qualification positions with an 8th placed La Liga finish this season.

With Serie A only reaching its conclusion last weekend, the Italian team will have match-fitness on their side, but they should still be wary of complacence against the team who beat Ajax 3-2 on aggregate to make it this far. Inter also have a rotten record against Spanish sides in recent years, having won just one of their last 12 encounters in European competition.

Inter Milan are 3/4 to win tonight’s game, with the draw at 23/10 and a Getafe win at 4/1.

You can back Inter to win with over 1.5 goals at 11/8 or to win and Both Teams to Score at 7/2.

Romulu Lukaku is 10/3 to score first, or 7/5 to score anytime, while Lautaro Martinez is 15/8 to score anytime, with Alexis Sanchez at 13/5 to find the net.

For Getafe, Angel Rodrigues is 5/1 to score first or 23/10 to score anytime, with Jaime Mata at 12/5 to score during the match.

Shakhtar Donestsk v Wolfsburg (2-1 agg)17:55

Wolfsburg are up against it when they visit Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk tonight, after falling to a 2-1 defeat in the home fixture.

To make matters worse, they haven’t played a competitive game of football since losing 4-0 to Bayern Munich on the final day of the Bundesliga season back in June, with a 1-1 warm-up friendly against RB Leipzig their only recent game.

Shakhtar are the newly crowned Ukrainian Premier League champions, after winning the title for the fourth consecutive time and will be confident of progressing thanks to their hard-fought advantage.

Shakhtar Donetsk are 7/4 to win the match, with the draw at 5/2 and a Wolfsburg win at 29/20.

If you’d rather bet on who progresses, Shakthar can be found at 2/7 to make it through the next round, with Wolfsburg at 29/20.

In the goalscorer markets Shakhtar’s Brazilian/Ukranian striker Junior Moraes is 4/1 to score first or 8/5 anytime, after scoring 23 goals in all competitions so far this season.

For Wolfsburg their goalscoring hopes largely rest with 18 goal Dutch striker Wout Weghorst who is 7/2 to score first, or 13/10 to score anytime.

FC Copenhagen v Istanbul Basaksehir (agg 0-1) – 17:55

Danish side FC Copenhagen go into this game with a narrow 0-1 deficit to overcome, after beating Celtic in the round of 32 to make it this far. They face an Istanbul team who powered past Sporting Lisbon to reach this stage and are looking to reach the quarter-finals for the first time in their history.

Our odds predict a close game tonight, with Copenhagen at 17/10 to win, with the draw at 21/10 and an Istanbul win at 17/10.

Their one-goal advantage puts Istanbul at 2/7 to progress to the quarter-final, with Copenhagen at 5/2.

In the scorer markets, Copenhagen striker Jonas Wind is 5/1 to score first or 9/4 to score anytime, with Mikkel Kaufmann and Mohammed Daramy both 5/1 to score first, or 23/10 to net anytime.

For Istanbul, it’s former Newcastle, West Ham and Chelsea forward Demba Ba who leads the betting at 5/1 to score first, or 23/10 anytime, with Edin Visca also 5/1 to net first or 23/10 anytime.
